We recently returned from my brother and two away on the Alps … The first in La Thuile for the Italian Enduro Cup and then the EWS French Samoens.<\/p>\n
We leave for the trip in a camper on Wednesday evening and we go to La Thuile …. for me it is the first time here and I can not wait to run on these paths of which they all speak very well!<\/p>\n
Thursdays so rehearsals begin for us and in the evening we even reach the Pheasant … I try to turn more I can to find some of the EWS view condition and also because the trails are spectacular !!!<\/p>\n
We have two days of competition, with fairly long descents and physically challenging with 3 ps per day, some to be repeated ….<\/p>\n
On Saturdays I do a lot of effort from the middle down … ps. I would ride well in the first half but in the end both in driving the traits that pedaled I have not, in fact, I close the first day of competition in ninth position ….<\/p>\n
Sunday is not good, but the feelings are a little better with also two 4 ps and so remount in the overall standings until the sixth place overall, just behind my brother who is the first of the Italians … It ‘s always nice when a little’ top foreign riders are running from us!<\/p>\n
La Thuile was really a great race, complete and organized the great and really do a mega compliment to all … and respect for the preview of Unreal Saturday night, it was a great weekend of bike !!!<\/p>\n
Since the trails were nice and reasonable weather we decide to stay to train until Thursday, when the evening we start towards Samoens …<\/p>\n
France is really hot and Friday afternoon the first news: the ps3 you can try just walk!<\/p>\n
Other ps you try once, just before the special timed!<\/p>\n
The Saturday after the first reference run down a storm and then the first mega ps is very slippery and very ride … ..<\/p>\n
The second special is long and discesistica and would be repeated twice but a shift is canceled for delays (unfortunately in France the organization is not very good, rarely times are respected, it is hard to understand how “moving” and rankings have to find a company to tight deadlines) and the third is the one made on foot, rather short, narrow, fast and with few bends where to maneuver!<\/p>\n
The first ps is quite devastating for me, I suffer a lot in the features pedaled long but in the end I managed with a 38 … absolute. I know that with the trainings lost because of the shoulder will be tough, I’m trying to recover but are still quite a ways away from the state of the form that I had early in the season!<\/p>\n
In ps 2 goes worse before half ps I take a stone that cuts my front tire …. I lose a lot of minutes ….<\/p>\n
The third stage is short and I try to push it all and have little in the 40 ….<\/p>\n
On Sunday two ps, both very discesistiche, the first and the second longest shorter and faster ….<\/p>\n
It starts in order of ranking and I’m after 100 overall and departures are every 15 seconds so there will be to do a bit of overtaking …<\/p>\n
I push as I can to try to replace something and take some points that perhaps will serve for the overall classification of the EWS and date back to the 87th position!<\/p>\n
Not sure what we wanted but you know, that’s part of the game!<\/p>\n
Now we continue with the workouts, the next appointment is in two weeks in Colorado where he will be a fight against the high ground too!<\/p>\n
Luckily I do not lose too many positions in the league and are 31 … absolute. Ready as always to fight for the final TOP30!<\/p>\n
